Release Notes — v3.2.0

Release Date: February 15, 2026

Highlights

  • Real-time collaboration — Multiple users can now edit the same document simultaneously
  • Faster search — Search results now load 3x faster with our new indexing engine
  • Webhook improvements — Webhooks now include full payload with before/after states

New Features

  • Live Collaboration: See other users' cursors and edits in real time. Works in all document types. Enable in Settings > Collaboration.
  • Bulk Export: Export up to 500 documents at once as a ZIP file. Available via the API and the Library > Export menu.
  • Custom Roles: Define roles beyond admin/member/viewer with granular permissions per resource type.

Improvements

  • Search indexing is now incremental — no more full re-index on document updates
  • Dashboard loading time reduced from 2.4s to 0.8s
  • File upload limit increased from 25MB to 100MB
  • API rate limits increased to 1,000 req/min on Pro plans

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: Documents with >50 images would fail to export as PDF (#4521)
  • Fixed: Webhook retry logic was not respecting exponential backoff (#4498)
  • Fixed: SSO users could not update their display name (#4512)
  • Fixed: Sorting by "Last Modified" was using creation date in some cases (#4489)

Known Issues

  • Live collaboration cursors may flicker on Safari 17.x — fix expected in v3.2.1
  • Bulk export does not include embedded videos — workaround: export individually

Upgrade Notes

  • Breaking: Webhook payload format changed — user field renamed to actor. Update your webhook consumers before upgrading.
  • Migration: Run python manage.py migrate — includes 2 new tables for collaboration features.
  • Minimum: Requires PostgreSQL 14+ (previously 13+).
